Webb told us he believes that we're becoming spoilt
for choice. "It's making it almost impossible to take a decision on which technology to go with. And to make
a decision, one needs enormous amounts of information. But once you've managed to gather that information and are
just about to make a decision a new technology comes along and sends you back to the drawing board."
He indicated that virtually everyone in the chain is negatively impacted by this techno-glut:
1. Consumers, because they tend "to sit back and wait."

2. Entrepreneurial companies can work very well in that kind of environment in some businesses because they can
go big and brash and announce the latest and greatest techno of all. But on the other hand, "many small companies
can't get into the access arena because of the enormous scale of the activities required. So in general the deployment
of new broadband technologies are delayed and windows of opportunity missed.
